Although a long time ( half a year ) has passed by since we left New Zealand, our thoughts often go back to this fascinating journey, especially the time we spent on the Otago peninsula. It was great to stay at Nisbet Cottage and take part at those fantastic wildlife tours. I`ll never forget these little blue penguins coming out of the sea in the evening and I´ll never forget the sea lions lying on the beach, when Steve took us to Sandfly Beach. Thank you very much again for being so hospitable ( the breakfast was delicious) and for giving us a glimpse at your knowledge about the history and nature of the Otago peninsula. Best regards, hope we`ll see us again. Britta & Maik Baumbach

I stayed at nisbet cottage on silvester new year 2002/03. We had a verey friendly welcome and it was a perfect place to discover Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula. I can also recomend the early morning trip to watch the yellow eyed penguins. The host will organize it for you.
