We enjoyed the tour. Very informative and we were lucky enough to see an albatross from the observation tower. We also saw it flying as we had our lunch in the cafe. We did the natures Wonders tour of the seal rocks as well. Drive out is fantastic. Worth a visit even if you don't do the tour.

We didn't take the tour. The views from the road and from the lookout near the albatross center are magnificent. At the time if our visit the albatrosses didn't seem to be flying so we didn't take the tour.
