Approximately 3 years ago I approached Dave advising that I would like to sell down my shareholding over the next few years to experienced loyal members of my staff who helped build the company up along with me and who could see themselves as owners in the future growth of the company.
Together we worked through a succession plan by offering key staff a percentage buy in over a four year period. Dave managed all the risk management protocols and the preparation of the shareholders agreements to help with my future retirement (exit).
